Full Bloom headed north to the stunning peaks of the Yorkshire Dales to shoot the wedding celebrations of writer Shane Gladstone and his beautiful bride to be Jasmine.
After meeting with the couple we agreed that a paired-back reportage style photography was key to capturing their laid back personalities and the party atmosphere of the day. We were also keen to tailor the design and branding to sympathetically compliment their style of wedding. We were also keen to tailor the design and branding to sympathetically compliment their style of wedding. Using a simple monogram and Jasmine’s favourite flower we created a brand that successfully expressed their union.
"We will treasure the beautiful pictures Jane captured whilst blending seamlessly into the background. I wasn’t aware that most of them were being taken! We will both cherish those reportage shots as well as the staged ones which we felt really portrayed us as a couple”
Back to an old favourite for Full Bloom with a trip to Oldwalls in the picturesque Gower, for the nuptials of Tara & Chris.
Family was the key-word for this day, with extended members travelling all across the globe to join in with the festivities, creating ample photo opportunities for Full Bloom to capture the vibrancy of the day. The overall branding reflected the heritage and visual culture of Tara’s background, using traditional shapes and typography to add an exotic flavour.
“Neither of us wanted formal, stuffy wedding photos, so her reportage style and natural approach really suited the vibe of our wedding, we love the natural feeling to the images and how the designs we chose compliment the tone of our wedding day”
Gemma & Louise's big day was full of laughter from the moment we arrived for the bridal preparation and with two brides to capture it was a dream job for Full Bloom!
Capturing the emotion of the ceremony and the celebrations to follow, the whole wedding was a joy from start to finish and Louise and Gemma infectious enthusiasm and humour translated into the overall feel of the images created. Gemma & Louise were keen to utilise a modern contemporary graphical style, they especially enjoyed the animated branding they could use digitally on social media sites.
“We loved how Jane really captured the essence of the day and gave us images that encapsulated our personality as a couple. We were really made to feel at ease and was able to relax and enjoy the day. We spoke to Neil beforehand about the overall tone of the wedding and decided a pared back, modern style would suit us best. We were thrilled with the results! We love that the design was completely bespoke to us”
The foothills of Snowdonia makes for a stunning backdrop to any image; throw into the mix the exquisite Bodnant Gardens, a bride in a vintage Dior and the cutest bevy of flower-girls you can imagine and you have the dream wedding commission for Full Bloom.
A fashion designer herself, Tracy knew exactly the feel she was looking for. We worked side-by-side in creating the images that best represented her vision of the day for her and her husband would treasure. Tracey & Nathan wanted the occasion to be branded from the very start. This allowed us to represent the beautiful location in the branding material and imagery, allowing the wedding to have a consistent theme from beginning to end.
