Port Erin

Port Erin beach is one of most beautiful places on the Island. It's in the south of the Island and a large bay that opens into the Irish Sea towards Ireland. The Sea always seems to be the most amazing blue colours when we are down there. This day was no different, the sun was shining, the wind was up and chilly. Nothing galeforce but crisp. Port Erin takes about half an hour to get to from Douglas if you take the main roads. This day we visited a local shop that sells candles and things like that (I was thrilled and bought a peony and grapefruit scented candle). We walked around a bit and visited a local book shop that is right on the Sea as well. We then made our way across the island (just a couple minutes) to Port St. Mary for a lovely walk along the Sea there.
