The Douglas Quay is in the South Side of the main part of town and such a nice place to stroll or grab a pint or dinner at a number of pubs and restaurants along it. I love the cliffs and the hill behind the quay and the way it nestles the boats in. There are sheep on the hill and always gulls swooping around. The boats bob up and down and depending on the tide rise and fall, sometimes even leaning on their sides if they are too far out of the water. On this specific day the clouds were amazing and wispy and the sky so so blue so I had to snap a photo.
