May's days were filled with beaches, castles and sun. It was my Birthday this month and also 1 year since I moved to the Isle of Man! It seems like it's gone by so fast but it also feels like I've lived a lifetime here since discovering so many new things, a different culture and a way of life. I now know the usual things the island has to offer. I know the sound of the fog horn, I know that when Marks and Spencer is out of sandwiches the boat was delayed. I know the best place to get an iced latte, which coffee shops have the best flat whites for the best price. I know short cuts and alley ways. I know the cheapest place for a drink (cough, quids inn). I know where to get the best espresso martini (cough, bath and bottle). There's lots of things I know now that I had no idea about a year ago, and I know that I like it here.
