Last weekend I had a stirring feeling to get off the island. I decided to just go with and luckily Liverpool is easily a day trip away. Visiting Liverpool takes two and a half hours on the ferry one way and £50. The boat leaves at 7:30 and gets into Liverpool conveniently at 10:00 AM. My day mostly consisted of wandering around. Wandering around Albert Dock and the Tate Museum. I then wandered up to Bold Street. For any Canadian friends it's a bit like Johnson Street in Victoria - but let's remember Liverpool is where the Beatles started so it's little more EXTRA. Of course I had smashed avocado on toast and a mint tea. I spent the rest of the afternoon at Lush getting a massage and picking up a few goodies. Heading home meant another 2.5 hours on the boat. The sun was setting coming back to the Isle of Man and as the boat got closer and closer I felt so happy to have the hustle and bustle of the city fade and the familiar sights and sounds of the island come into view. It really hit me how much the Isle of Man has become home. I walked off the boat and up to my flat with a smile on my face knowing that I'm where I'm supposed to be.
Lately i've been enamoured with the absurdity of life and questioning things, have you? I've been stirred to be asking better question so I wanted to share them here. They came from a video I watched by Michael Beckwith on the MindValley YouTube channel.
1. What is trying to emerge into my life?
2. How much power can flow through me?
3. What gift am I to give to the world?
4. What's my next step in the downloading and articulation of my vision?
5. What is the vision for my life?
6. What is the universe wishing to express through me?
Such great questions to think about. That is what has been on my mind lately...
